Investing in Victoria
Gozo’s capital, beneath the Citadel: the island’s administrative centre and the one part of it with a genuine year-round market.
The case
Why investors buy in Victoria
Victoria, still widely called Rabat, is Gozo’s capital, built around and beneath the Citadel. Government offices, the hospital, the schools and the island’s main shopping streets are all here.
That gives it something the rest of Gozo largely lacks: a resident, working population that stays through the winter. Letting demand here is less seasonal than in the coastal villages, and the town trades steadily.
The stock is townhouses and village property in the core, with newer apartments on the outskirts. It is the practical Gozo address rather than the scenic one, which is precisely why it holds up out of season.
