The case

Why investors buy in Sannat

Sannat sits on the southern edge of Gozo above the Ta’ Ċenċ cliffs, a small village a few minutes from Victoria. The cliffs and the open garrigue behind it are protected, which fixes its southern boundary.

Property is village housing and converted farmhouses, with a good deal bought as second homes. Being close to Victoria gives it more practicality than its size suggests.

The market is small and quiet. Demand is seasonal and the tenant pool is thin, so the case here rests on the setting and on how little of it can ever be built.
