Up to €15,000 for a property in Malta, or up to €40,000 for a property in Gozo where the deed of acquisition is signed on or after 1 January 2025. Where the property is bought jointly, the final grant is calculated pro rata to each buyer's share.

Up to €5,824 (new-build) or up to €6,989 combined where the property is at least 15 years old at the time of application (€5,824 + €1,165 extra, rolling threshold, not a fixed cutoff year), paid in 2 instalments as a % (13.04% or 15.254%) of fiscal-receipted construction/finishing costs.

Malta's Rehabilitation of Vacant Dwellings scheme offers up to €50,000 to renovate a long-vacant property in exchange for a 10-year lease to the Housing Authority. See eligibility and conditions.
